This Morning Routine Will Improve Your Mood
Not a Morning Person?
Not everyone just hops out of bed ready to tackle the day. But how can you put a little more pep in your step before 9am? Here are a tangible tips from the Osteopathic perspective:
Drink water- first things first, grab a glass of water and take a few gulps.
Breathe- take five intentionally deep breaths in and out through your nose.
Stretch- get that neck moving. If you are about to head straight to the computer to start your day, do a few gentle neck stretches to get the blood flowing to your cranium.
Eat- this is obvious, but try mindfully chewing each bite of your breakfast slowly. It will help your digestion first thing in the AM.
