Meet Michael Bugoslavsky

Michael grew up in a household where talk of medical and health-related issues was the norm! With over 15 years of practice as a Registered Massage Therapist, Michael completed his diploma in Manual Osteopathy from the Southern Ontario College of Osteopathy in 2019. Balance and Mobility Massage and Osteopathy was built off of his skills as a Massage Therapist – Deep Tissue and Therapeutic Massage Therapy - for the purpose of reduction of pain; improving range of motion of muscles & joints; and education on correct physical function and exercise. As a Manual Osteopath, Michael treats a large range of conditions including postural concerns, headaches, neck and back pain, plantar fasciitis, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and digestive concerns.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is a way to enhance body balance and mobility through a combination of direct pressure and stretch applied to the muscles and associated tissues – tendons, fascia, ligaments, blood vessels and nerves.

Massage Therapy is helpful in treating conditions such as migraines and headaches, muscular tension and pain, TMJ disorders and more.

Manual Osteopathy

Manual Osteopathy takes advanced palpation skills to perform a manual treatment, and the patient remains fully clothed. An intentional series of techniques is applied that work uniquely with the patient to address their concerns.

Manual Osteopathy adopts the philosophy that our body is a self-regulating and self-repairing organic mechanism. The key function of self-sustainability is the unobstructed flow of body fluids (blood, lymph, cerebrospinal fluid) and nerve communication. The flow of body fluids relies on reciprocal relationship of structure and function of different body systems – musculoskeletal, fascial, visceral, nervous, circulatory systems to perform optimally.
